The shop that was a butchers, Smithy’s I believe it was, has now been turned into an upmarket gents barbers. I say upmarket because it by appointment only, and each customer will receive a complimentary drink, either a coffee, or a beer, or a whisky. They specialise in cuts, shaves, and beards, so any hipsters in town will be happy. The owners have their own web site if you want to know more about them, there does seem a lot of barbers in Sisden, but they cause no damage, and I think this will have a niche customer base. I am nothing to do with this venture by the way, just thought folk might be interested in what it is

Glad to see it’s back in use! Nothing worse than empty shops.

Agreed Frankie. The town needs to look presentable if we want people to visit and stay. It’d a great start, empty shops look awful.

All very fine but nothing will take me away from my lovely Katya at Cut Italia! Not even a free beer.
