All eight of the 3-4 mile strolls are now waymarked on the ground, and can be downloaded free from Silstrolls.org.uk. If you’ve been discouraged in the past from walking out in Silsden’s countryside because of Bradford’s inability to put waymarks up, then your fears are over.

I hope to have waymarked and uploaded the larger (7.5 mile) Silsden Circle in the next couple of weeks. This will be eventually the only walk to be described both clock- and anticlockwise. (A walk ALWAYS looks different in reverse!)

There have been a good number of positive responses to the Strolls on the Facebook site. If YOU have done one of them please do let me know how you found the experience either there or at allan@silstrolls.org.uk.

To my surprise there is, in Silsden, a little man, a sad, spite-filled little man two brain cells weak, probably undersexed and certainly physically under-endowed, who feels it’s his task in life to destroy something that other people enjoy. He goes around spending energy and time on lifting and destroying the Silsden Strolls waymarks, AND the Bradford waymarks too because he’s so low in the ape scale of intelligence he can’t tell t’other from which! One offence is a private civil matter, the other is one pursued by Bradford Council.

So, just to let this spiteful, sad, wet-hanky-syndrome little (he’s small!) tu*d know the score: the police have been informed as have Bradford Council. Walkers in the area are watching out for you, little wiener. And if you’re caught, trust me, you’ll lose your front teeth and maybe more. I have a lot of landowner friends in Silsden who won’t give a toss what happens to you, sonny. And if I can do the deed, well and good.

    You’re warned, untermensch..

Whilst you may have a point about rights and wrongs of removing waymarks you need to be careful about threats of violence on social media or it could be you who attracts the attention of the police.

The police are now involved with the waymark vandalism (actually it’s a crime – theft- according to them). And the Keighley News will have a big article next week which will feature the £50 REWARD for apprehension and conviction which has been put up by a local landowner friend of mine who is utterly disgusted at the antics of the Little Wiener.

A local website is under investigation too. Contributors are being investigated privately on the qt as to their identities, and there will be repercussions once some of these have been established. They can guess who they are – one of three contributors is 99% certainly the under-endowed Little Wiener, and police will be pointed discreetly in their direction. So I hope there will be a few knocks on the door in the evening. When he’s found out, as he will be, I shall take great pleasure in broadcasting his identity all over the town and on here.

Quite why anybody is his right mind would want to spoil a scheme giving pleasure to his hundreds of co-parishioners baffles me. I suppose he’s not in his right mind. Sad, really.

OK Having taken a look at all the posts and thank you to the guy who pointed this out to me, here is the official buzz word on this.

We don’t want to stop anyone from posting on here and more than likely won’t.
But this is not anyone’s playground for starting fights and not a place for threatening anyone.

I’d would much rather leave a post open so that a few people might look at what they said and be man enough to apologise and say maybe I shouldn’t have said that. (If not, we don’t rule over you)

If you would like to express your opinions in that way, there is another more grumpy site where you can go.

We are currently aware that we need more positive people to run this site and are in talks to make this happen.

This is a very close knit village, most people know each other. Be very careful about your posts. You can delete and retype them whenever you like.
    Be nice guys.
